The Core 1000 is the perfect all-round flashlight, with maximum brightness in a compact body. It has a 90-minute runtime that is ideal as either a primary light for night dives, looking under crevices during the day or stowing in a pocket as a backup. It makes a great first dive light because even if you upgrade to something more powerful down the track this will be a great backup due to its compact size. It’s also an excellent choice for tech divers who are carrying multiple backups. It is charged using a USB-C cable straight into the battery, meaning it can easily be topped up in-between dives on a live aboard or charged in the car on the way to the dive site.
